The Head and The Heart

I can credit the fine folks at RDIO for introducing my to The Head and The Heart. Since 2010, the Seattle based H&H have released 2 beautifully and tightly rendered masterpiece records. Since hearing "Lost In My Mind" from their self-titled debut, I couldn't imagine it would ever get better than that recording. I was terribly wrong. From the moment they walked out on stage at The Civic Theatre, till the final encore, their live performance was truly bombastic and magical. When "Lost in My Mind" began, it turned into a perfect rolling thunder.

The Civic Theatre

As of late, we're seeing a true theatre renaissance in New Orleans. Whether it's the re-opening of The Joy Theatre last year or the storied and historical Saenger revitalized on Canal Street, we're starting to see a shift back the golden age of entertainment and culture in the city.

Laura Cayouette

As an actor seen on both small and big screens, writer, producer, and director Laura Cayouette, has seemingly done it all in front and behind the camera. Most recently she's starred in the Quentin Tarantino Oscar Nominated blockbuster and New Orleans shot Django Unchained, as well as become a much sought after muse.
