<p>New Orleans is known very well for tradition. Tradition is part of our every day live in everything we do. With all the changes that are going on in the city, one thing still remains the same, we're a printed matter kind of town. Just this week, I caught a commercial in between the news and Fallon from The New Orleans Advocate newspaper.</p>

<p>As we inch into the meat of the swealtering summer here in New Orleans, I've begun to think back about my summers from the past. Most of them I experienced as a young punk revolved around swimming, french quarter trips, bar-b-qued weiners, and sneaking around the pool drinking cheap Busch beer.</p>
